THE PLACES OF THE ROUTE

Fossombrone: Ancient town of Roman origin mail in the middle of the river Metauro valley, along the ancient Via Flaminia, closed between the buttresses Cesane and the steep northern slope of the hill of the Capuchins.

Isola del Piano: the small village of 600 inhabitants, located on the edge of the mountain of Cesana.

Petriano:owes its name to the three rivers that flow on its territory: the APSA descending from Urbino, the Tagliatesta comes from Cesane through Palazzo del Piano and the rocket that marks the northern limit of the township.
